Is It Worth It, Y’all?

Missy Elliott would certainly say so…

Tomorrow I’m supposed to put out another Femoir Podcast. I’m behind on the other one… as some of you may have noticed.

I still love creating these podcasts and getting to be on my mic and whatnot. But I can’t decide if it’s worth putting up a “Femoir podcast” that’s just a recording of my novel. It’s not really part of the Femoir world. But right now, nothing is really being produced in Femoir world because I’m concentrating on the novel in my “free” time.

So I can’t decide if it’s worth putting up the podcast, friends. What do you think?

Usually when I have thoughts like this, I call myself out on being lazy and just make myself do it anyway. In this case… I really don’t think it’s worth it.

Maybe we’ll just wait until I have the time and energy to concentrate on what the hell the Femoir: The Podcast is even going to transform into. Once I have time to do that, I’ll happily continue to create them.

But for now, there’s plenty of options to see my face and hear the melodious sounds of my voice on the Cartoon Confessions Vlogs.

Normally I’d Vlog today…

…but for those of you following the saga that is November 2013 for me, you know that nothing has been ‘normal’ about this month.

I’m not vlogging today mostly because I’ve been vlogging daily for my Cartoon Confessions National Novel Writing Month challenge. So if you’ve missed my face, you’ve got plenty of options to stare at in from many different angles and looks on that page.

And I know I owe you a podcast, friends. I know. It’s on my list. And I want to do it. It’s gonna be segment from Cartoon Confessions. But so far I haven’t recorded it because my voice sounds so low and tired from overuse.

But it’s coming, friends. It’s coming…

Mercury in Retrograde

Friends! Get this! Last night I recorded a vlog. It was late at night. I was exhausted. I was basically explaining better what last week’s post was and the exciting upcoming changes to the Femoir podcast.

I was going to edit it this morning quickly so I could upload it for your viewing pleasure. When I opened up iMovie, it showed my recording but as I attempted to edit and play it back- it showed old recordings from Femoir stuff I thought I’d long since deleted from the computer.

I tried closing and reopening iMovie twice. Nothing changed. I tried playing around with settings and manipulating it. Nothing happened. I could hear my recording from last night, but I could only see other odd stuff.

To be honest- the recording wasn’t my best work anyway. So I decided to blame it all on Mercury in Retrograde

And to tell you that podcast changes are happening. Slowly but surely.

November’s podcasts will be excerpts from the novel I’m writing for NaNoWriMo.

December, we’ll start our new adventures as podcast buddies together.
